Job Title: Senior Calculations Analyst

Location: Portsmouth (Hybrid working model/Remote)

Salary: Between £55k-£70k

Job Type: Permanent, Monday-Friday

The Role

My client is seeking a well experienced Senior Project Manager to join a fast-paced team delivering software solutions for some of the biggest financial services institutions. The successful candidate will be able, as well as responsible for the delivery of a strategic programme of work to one of the firm's biggest clients. The successful candidate would have experience managing Agile software projects.

Duties and responsibilities:

• To understand as well a document and communicate calculations for illustrations, pensions administration and financial tools to be used by customers.
• To work alongside the Product Owner/Project Manager to formalise functioning requirements using tools and adhering to the standard set by the BA team.
• To produce a range of project documentation including process diagrams, functional specifications and user stories.
• To work with the development team and testing to ensure changes which assist functionality to meet business needs whilst utilising the core features of the product.
• To be able to create and maintain stochastic and deterministic models to help understand the impact of changes and to create test scenarios

The Candidate

• To have knowledge of the Investments/Pensions/Savings industry
• Analysis experience in the Financial Services and software industries.
• Experience in test planning and test execution for technical calculation testing.
• Ability to analyse numerical problems and to create practical solutions involving building models using Microsoft EXCEL
