Senior C++ Developer - Cambridge - £60-140k (+Bonuses)

Hexwired are recruiting for a Fintech trading company based in Cambridge. They are looking for a Senior C++ developer to assist the delivery of their trailblazing, ultra-low latency trading solutions for their clients across banking and financial services.

As a Senior C++ developer, you won’t be expected to come from a Fintech background, in fact they are particularly interested in applicants coming from backgrounds such as video, graphics, gaming or audio. Now is the time to apply for this Senior C++ developer role!

Requirements for this role

- At least 3 years commercial experience in software development using C++

- Rust experience or a willingness to learn

- Experience in low-latent environments

- Development experience in Linux

Desirable Extras

- Solid understanding of scripting languages e.g. Bash, Python

- Familiarity with CPU architecture optimisation

- High performance networking/ network protocols

- Possess some Rust familiarity already

- Build system experience (GNUMake or CMake)

For this role, you will need to be commute to their Cambridge office 3 days per week, with 2 days working from home. They are looking to offer between £60-£140k depending on experience, as well as their fantastic benefits packages.
