Senior Business Analyst required to work with a Government department. This is an initial 12 month contract, paying circa £600 a day, inside IR35, hybrid working.

Job Description:

You will be working on the Corporate Information System (CIS) workstream and be based within a small team of business analysts.

The project is looking to identify, analyse and specify functionality that can be removed from (Oracle based) legacy tech and implemented in new system builds.

As well as identifying, isolating and detailing functionality that needs to be replicated in alternate / new systems, you will be working with a team to highlight risks and ensure understanding with a wider digital community

Skills & experience required

  • Significant experience of working on large, complex systems with multiple interfaces
  • Excellent problem analysis skills
  • Strong requirements elicitation and definition skills with an ability to liaise with both technical and non technical colleagues
  • Experience of working with legacy tech (preferably ERP systems)
  • Experience of working with and specifying APIs
  • Strong interpersonal and team working skills
