Senior Building Surveyor - South West England
Senior Building Surveyor - Bristol/South West - Up to £75k + Car allowance
We’re working with a large, national residential property services provider who are in the process of ensuring their entire portfolio meets current and pipeline H&S and Fire Risk standards.
With extensive planned, remedial and retro-fit works required, they now seek a highly accomplished Building Surveyor / Project Manager as follows:
- Professionally qualified - ideally MCIOB or MRICS but others considered (AssocRICS etc.), reporting directly to the Director of Surveying & Technical Services.
- Based within Bristol or the West/South West of England in order to visit sites as required
- 5-10 years MINIMUM Surveying experience, spanning the full range of professional and project duties including defect diagnosis, project management, specifications/tenders, insurance reinstatement cost assessments, license for alteration, snagging, Fire Risk Assessments and ideally, EWS1’s (exposure to as opposed to the undertaking of, although the latter would be highly advantageous)
- Able to lead and provide technical guidance to a wider team of Surveying and Project professionals
- Driving fee income through networking with new and existing clients, managing the overall financial output of the team
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the team and its functions
The suitable Building Surveyor will come from a stable career history, be prepared to travel across a Bristol / West/South West England portfolio and have a thorough understanding of current and pipeline Fire Risk, Cladding and Health & Safety guidance/legislation.
Salary for the successful Building Surveyor / Project Manager will start at up to £75k basic + £5500 car allowance and team bonus.
