Senior Associate Quantity Surveyor

My client, a leading construction consultancy, is seeking an experienced Senior Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their team in London. This is an exceptional opportunity to take a lead role on high-profile datacentre projects, working directly with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead quantity surveying services on complex datacentre projects from inception through to completion
  • Prepare cost estimates, value engineering, life cycle costing, and risk analysis for mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) design
  • Manage tender processes and negotiate contracts under FIDIC and OFCO suites of contracts
  • Conduct monthly valuations, prepare interim payment certificates and agree final accounts
  • Represent the consultancy in client meetings, presenting reports and leading discussions
  • Mentor, supervise and manage a team of quantity surveyors
  • Develop client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives


Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related construction discipline
  • Minimum 10 years' experience, with significant datacentre project exposure
  • Comprehensive knowledge of MEP services design and specialist datacentre cost management
  • Strong understanding of FIDIC, OFCO and other standard forms of contract
  • Proven track record leading quantity surveying teams on major projects
  • Excellent client-facing skills with ability to operate at senior levels
  • Motivated and results-driven with a collaborative approach
