Senior Architect

Oxford

Up to £60k

Our client is well known architectural practice specialising in the design and project management of high end residential properties. With a growing client base and a reputation for the creation of beautiful sustainable homes, they are working with us to bring on a talented Senior Architect to join their Oxfordshire based team

This person will be responsible for design across the development lifecycle, from concepts to planning and consent of existing assets, stakeholder management, brand continuity, and project and people management through to completion.

This role would suit someone from an Architectural practice that has worked on a range of projects in the residential sector with a focus on sustainability and ideally Passive House qualified

 Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Statutory Planning - Overview on various planning applications and awareness of changes to local planning policies/plans making appropriate representation.
  • New Developments Feasibilities
  • Space planning of existing assets
  • Delivery - Support project teams on the delivery of developments and refurbishment projects ensuring they are delivered to the design standards. Reviewing emerging design and signing off the delivery of the projects
  • Manage people, mentoring, training and overseeing day to day work and deadlines .
  • Technical design - supporting team on team design matters
  • Manage the relationships with the various design consultants, ensuring maximum performance. Reviewing KPI scoring by the teams and providing review sessions with the consultants

Ideal Candidates will have:

  • RIBA Pt III
  • Experience in the residential sector
  • Proven full project lifecycle delivery
  • Proficient in CAD
  • Located in or near Oxford
