The role

My client is not just any company - they are pioneers in their field delivering cutting-edge products and solutions to both their commercial and enterprise clients across the globe. With a newly formed team of 7 like-minded developers, they’re on a mission to redefine the mobile experience and set new standards for innovation.

As a key member to the team, you’ll be tasked with harnessing the power of Jetpack to revolutionise their suite of mobile apps, with at least 5 years of commercial Android development and a minimum of 1 year wielding Jetpack you’ll be responsible for dealing with complex technical challenges and breathing new life into their products.

This role will see you be responsible for playing a key role in creating, enhancing and maintaining the app offering all in your proactive motivated approach whilst working in a cross functional team taking ownership with a keen eye for detail and a focus on writing clean readable code.

The tech stack

• Android Studio, Jetpack, Kotlin, and WearOS.
• Design patterns such as MVC, MVVM.
• SOLID principles, and a bonus if you have DDD.
• REST API’s and a connoisseur of UX design principles.
• JIRA for tracking progress
• GIT Bitbucket for version control

• Audio Streaming
• OpenGL or 3D Graphics
• Familiar with static libraries
• Any personal projects to showcase your creative streak and skills.
