The EMEA CPMO manages and oversees major strategic and regulatory programmes. The EMEA Group supports Senior Management with the governance, oversight, execution and implementation of critical strategic programmes inclusive of non-discretionary regulatory change programmes emanating from the various EMEA Regulators. Its scope includes growing revenues by delivering the whole Company (focusing on key client segments and key geographies), growing margins by improving the Firm’s operating model (with a particular focus on our global footprint), completing large, strategic mergers and acquisitions, as well as the assured end to end delivery of assigned regulatory change programmes/projects.
The role provides support for activities associated with project planning and management in straightforward projects using established procedures to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to internal client specifications.
Senior Analyst, Programme and Project Management Duties:
Ensures project management methodologies and tools are incorporated into the tools and
techniques routinely used for project management. Follows established guidelines for adapting standards based on project requirements.
Process oriented thinking with a strong attention to detail. The ability to quickly assimilate multiple workstream MI reports, conduct quality assurance, scrutinize and clarify exceptions and then summarize themes and issues towards the production of MI reporting packs for Steering Committee and Board level consumption.
Financial management of existing projects. Inclusive of supporting annual forecasting, administration, review of actuals against plans and resolving variances with Project Managers.
Facilitates adoption of appropriate project management tools and techniques to ensure integrity of project data.
Assists in creating and maintaining resource pool information to facilitate assignment of resources within corporate project management tool(s).
Assists in coordinating with all required functions and groups to effectively plan and execute the project. Takes meeting minutes and distributes to project team.
Support effective records management and adherence to Corporate ReMAP within the EMEA CPMO. This will include the ability to manage both the EMEA CPMO shared drives and SharePoint sites.Qualifications
Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required.
0-3 years of total work experience in Project Management preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Prince2 certification is preferred.
Good written and verbal communication skills required.
Knowledge of Regulatory/Governance framework advantageous.
Experience in the Financial Services sector.
Experience working in a confidential environment.
Literacy in the following software packages: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint (high level of skill essential), Excel, Visio, Project (latter not essential).
Flexibility in terms of both working hours and work undertaken will be required.
