Data Platforms team are currently looking for a Senior Analyst Developer for 6 month contract to join our Data Archiving product team in a multifaceted role that involves a blend of support and development/release management. Initially you will focus on building, managing and maintaining AWS platform. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing and providing guidance to the product team members.

  • Experience in software development
  • Proficiency in Python and Java
  • Extensive experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, SNS, etc.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure principles and experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  • knowledge/familiar with postman for API testing, docker and podman for running application.
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing workflows.
  • Experience with serverless architectures and microservices-based applications.
  • Knowledge of information security controls to mitigate threats within solutions and services.

Ways of working:

  1. Experience in Data Migration, Data Profiling and Data Quality enhancement.
  2. Experience in Agile (Scrum) way of working
  3. Understanding of CI/CD process & ways of working including GitCI
  4. Strong understanding of software development life cycle
  5. Knowledge of software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including Agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, etc

1-2 days in the office, Wednesday and one other.
