Juice is delighted to be supporting a well-established retail and wholesale company, based in Melksham, in their search for a Senior Administrator to join their friendly team.


This is an exciting time to join a company focused on expansion, supplying products to both independent and numerous retailers all over the UK and Europe.

DAY TO DAY:

  • Raising purchase orders with factories and suppliers.
  • Forming strong, working relationships.
  • Chasing suppliers for updates on costs, SCs and production deadlines.
  • Verifying and amending product information and packing lists.
  • Organising deposit and balance payments for all supplier orders.
  • Planning future containers based on upcoming production dates.
  • Liaise with the Shipping Coordinator to ensure deliveries are prioritised and optimised.
  • Liaise with the product department to track approvals.
  • Liaise with the warehouse and Head of Operations on upcoming orders to give full visibility in order to aid workflow.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders for information and updates regarding shipping schedules.
  • Preparation of documents for the arrangements of the imports/exports of goods.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and customer’s logistics teams on FOB & Ex works shipments.
  • Regular communication to the relevant departments with delivery schedule updates.
  • Resolving customer issues effectively, highlighting risks and problems to mitigate delays.
  • Ensuring customer label requirements and procedures are arranged.
  • Booking in deliveries with the customers via phone, email or company portals/websites.
  • Ensuring manuals, customer information and contact details are all kept up to date in SAGE and Outlook.

WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE:

  • Working knowledge of production critical paths, including creation and project management.
  • Able to work both under pressure and to strict deadlines, with strong organisational skills.
  • 2-3 years of experience within a similar role and industry.
  • Logical, numerate, accurate, and a problem solver with attention to detail.
  • Confident team player with great communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge.
  • Experience using Sage 200 and strong Microsoft Outlook skills.
  • A full clean UK driving license.
