Senior Accounts Assistant

Reed Finance are delighted to be working alongside an established client in the Cramlington area who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to their business on a full time, permanent contract.

As Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for the accounting and administration of the business ensuring all accounting tasks are executed on time and with strong attention to detail. You will also be responsible for the general administration in a varied and active role. The business require someone who is experienced, pro-active and can work effectively on their own.

Job duties include:

• Purchase ledger invoicing
• Processing payment runs
• Sales invoicing
• Bank reconciliations
• Reconciliation of accounts and credit card receipts bank account
• Month-end reconciliations and monthly recharges.
• Monitor and action emails received in the accounts email box
• Allocation of receipts
• Inventory Management
• Dealing with customer and supplier queries
• Other administrative ad-hoc tasks as and when needed
