A highly successful and growing firm of chartered accountants is searching for a Senior / Accounting Technician to join their team based in Newton Abbot.

The firm acts for wide ranging clients in sector and turnovers and provides a superb environment to progress, in your accounting career.


Joining as a Senior / Accounting Technician , based at their Newton Abbot offices, you will have a hands on role preparing accounts, tax, bookkeeping, VAT and wide ranging general accountancy practice responsibilities for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Clients are varied across industry and turnover and the firm is undergoing, continued positive growth with plans for future development and expansion. The opportunity therefore provides genuine progression and development potential.


You may be a qualified AAT qualified technician, perhaps studying ACCA or looking to build further on your experience following qualifying AAT. Or you may have developed your career through experience only. With a background in accountancy practice, you will have at least 2 - 4 years or more experience within practice, preparing accounts, tax, bookkeeping and other responsibilities for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, as a Senior / Accounting Technician. You will be looking for challenging, long term career move within a genuinely growing and expanding firm of chartered accountants, offering progression and career development.

Job Offer

£18,000 - £26,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable, plus benefits.
