We have an opportunity at a Firm of Chartered Accountants based in Bromsgrove who are recruiting a Senior Accountant.

You will be responsible for the accuracy and completeness of financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Some of the specific tasks you will be responsible for include:

1. Preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

2. Overseeing the preparation of tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.

3. Managing client relationships and communicating with clients to provide financial advice and guidance.

4. Training and mentoring junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.

5. Identifying and addressing potential financial issues and risks and providing recommendations for improvement.

6. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and ensuring that all financial transactions are properly documented.

7. Staying up to date with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations, and applying this knowledge to client work.

Overall, as the Senior Accountant, your role would be critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, as well as providing valuable guidance and advice to clients.
