A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join a Future Focused Finance level 1 accredited finance function.
With a salary starting from £38,350, the post holder will provide specialist Financial Accounting advice and play a key role in supporting both internal and external financial reporting providing leadership support within the finance function. Key duties include monthly reporting and forecasting, provision of technical accounting advice to the company and its parent Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHSFT, leading on the yearend group accounts process and liaising with external auditors.
The role presents an innovative opportunity for an experienced Finance professional to take the next step in their career and continue their development within a newly created wholly owned subsidiary company to Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The role provides an opportunity for the right candidate to build their knowledge of finance within the healthcare sector and also within a commercial setting.
The successful candidate will benefit from working within an organisation with a strong track record of supporting and developing staff. These are key leadership roles within the department, providing hands on support in the development of the finance function to meet the varied and changing needs of our customers and support the wider work of the Derbyshire Healthcare system.
You will be a qualified CCAB / CIMA accountant (or Masters equivalent) with 3 years post qualification experience, show evidence of leadership training, have excellent communication skills and display a passion for staff development.

These roles are part of the integrated health and social care community across Derbyshire, where there are many opportunities to work across different locations and providers developing new and different skills.
