We are working with a client in the exhibitions/event sector, who is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Senior 3D Designer to become an integral part of their growing team. The successful candidate will be influencing design thinking in a boundary-pushing team, using an exhibition and spatial design background to create novel experiences for their clients. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join a growing, purpose-driven team where they can develop their excellent 3D Design skills.

What you'll be doing

As the Senior 3D Designer, you will be immersed in the exhibit and events sector, contributing your expertise to deliver pitch-winning creative designs for their clients. This will involve participating in brainstorming creative concepting and design development with a focus on delivering distinct and engaging brand environments in the exhibit/event sector.

You will be joining a team where thinking outside of the box is encouraged. This agency wants to stand out from the crowd, and so bringing unconventional design approaches and taking inspiration from outside the field is welcomed. You will be empowered to challenge existing ways of working and bring your own flair to the company.

Joining a design team of around 7 people, you will be well supported in a team overflowing with creativity. With two juniors in the team, you will be entrusted with supporting their development, so mentoring experience would be a plus.

What experience you'll need to apply
  • Stand-out portfolio showcasing previous event or exhibition design experience.
  • Excellent conceptual experience, ensuring conceptual integrity is upheld during the design process and able to write concept rationales.
  • Good communication skills, and willingness to lead pitches and client communications.
  • Ambitious designer with lateral design approach – willing to think outside the box.
  • Strong experience leading projects from client brief through to delivery, working independently and with a team.
  • Willingness and ability to mentor more junior 3D Designers, and delegate work appropriately.
  • A few years’ experience in a similar role within an agency
  • Excellent knowledge of 3D software such as SketchUp or AutoCAD.
