SEND Teaching Assistant �?

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with moderate to severe learning difficulties?

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and emotional development of children with special educational needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with varying learning needs.
  • Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored educational activities.
  • Implementing behaviour management strategies to support students with challenging behaviour.
  • Creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.

What We're Looking For:

  • Passionate about working with children with special educational needs.
  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient in the face of challenges.
  • Flexible and adaptable to the varying needs of students and the school environment.
  • Able to demonstrate a commitment to the well-being and progress of every child.
  • Ideally, have previous experience working in a similar role or a relevant qualification (though training can be provided for the right candidate)

This is a full-time position, and availability during school hours is essential. We are looking for candidates who are committed to making a positive impact and who can dedicate themselves to the role on a long-term basis.
