Position Available: SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: We are currently seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at a reputable Secondary School in Kirklees.

Start Date: Immediate start available.

Experience Required:

  • Previous experience working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) is essential.
  • A passion for supporting students to achieve their full potential.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities: As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide one-to-one support to students with SEND.
  • Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create inclusive learning environments.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teaching team.
