Position: SEND Teaching Assistant for Outstanding SEND School
Location: Whitehaven
Age Group: Pupils aged 3-15 years old
Start Date: Immediate start on a long-term basis
Working Hours: 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
Hourly Rate: Starting from £12
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join an outstanding SEND school in Whitehaven. All pupils at this remarkable institution have an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) reflecting severe or profound learning needs, along with other additional areas of need.
Requirements:
- Experience supporting individuals with additional needs is highly desired, though open to unqualified teaching assistants.
- Willingness to learn and a drive to make a positive impact on the lives of children with special needs.
- DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
- Proof of right to work in the UK.
