Are you passionate about creating inclusive learning environments where every child is valued and supported to reach their full potential? If so, we invite you to join our team as a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Teacher in our Specialist School!

  • Provide personal care and support to students, including assistance with feeding, toileting, and mobility, as needed.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and carers, and collaborate with external agencies to support students' holistic development.
  • Maintain accurate records of students' progress, achievements, and support needs, and participate in the review and evaluation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS), or equivalent teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs and disabilities, particularly those with ASC, ADHD, SpLD, SEMH, PMLD, and other complex needs.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, frameworks, and best practices related to special education, including safeguarding and personal care procedures.
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for supporting the holistic development of students with diverse needs.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career progression within our supportive and inclusive school community.
  • Meaningful and rewarding work, making a real difference in the lives of students with complex needs and their families.
  • Supportive and collaborative team environment, where your contributions are valued and appreciated.

How to Apply: If you are committed to providing high-quality education and support to students with complex needs and are eager to join a dynamic and inclusive school community, we would love to hear from you!
