What we do

Engage Education

At Engage Education, the development of schools and teachers is at the core of what we do. We match the best available teaching talent from the UK, Ireland, Australia and Canada with the best primary and secondary school opportunities across the UK.

Candidates - Teachers

As an award winning provider of teacher recruitment solutions, Engage Education has a firm commitment to providing the very best opportunities for rewarding work in UK schools.

The development of long-term working relationships with each and every member of our teacher network receives structured career management advice, practical support and opportunities of progression, whichever contract they choose to pursue.

Once registered with us an Engage teacher receives the very best levels of support and guidance before interviews as well as post placement, with induction events and the very best ongoing professional development as a unique incentive scheme. Engage teachers are well prepared, well supported and well resourced.

From the outset, our UK and overseas resource team work with you to find the best possible opportunities for you, closely matching your personal requirements and expectations. Our experienced consultants search to find the most appropriate school for you to either begin or further your career and arrange your interview for you.

The support you receive from Engage continues throughout your placement and during your time in the UK. You have a dedicated consultant who you can call upon for advice and guidance.

Clients - Schools

Engage Education has a firm commitment to finding and placing high-quality candidates who don't just meet a school's person specification, but who will also fit in well to a school's culture, and help it achieve strategic objectives to raise standards.

All our candidates are subject to a detailed vetting process, which ensures they meet the Department of Education (DfE) and Quality Mark standards before they are considered for placement.

We offer very high levels of customer service, proactive management by a named representative, and continuity of service. Indeed, continuity is key to the successful recruitment partnerships our schools enjoy. To achieve this, we work with each school to develop a detailed understanding of its requirements - both immediate and longer-term - and then to jointly devise a managed and bespoke solution.

These partnerships with schools - together with our strategic partnerships with other key organisations in the schools sector - enable us to stay abreast of changes in policy and practice, so that we can tune our services for teachers and schools accordingly.

iday

One such initiative developed in response to market need is iday.

Launched in 2009, iday is a unique service that enables schools to interview multiple candidates from Engage Education's markets in the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, pre-selected against specific needs, all in one day. The savings in cost and time are significant, as are the benefits in being able to recruit to fulfil a strategic need. iday was selected as Education Investor's Recruitment Service of the Year, for 2012.
