Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a experienced SEND Teacher to join this Primary School's ASD Provision starting in September. This is a full time, long-term role for the academic year and upon review there will be an opportunity to go permanent.

The School:

The Primary School Provision houses pupils with learning difficulties, ADHD and ASD alongside some challenging behaviour.

The class holds 12 children maximum. In the provision the children are nurtured and taught with the aim of helping them reintegrate back into the mainstream classroom.

As a SEND teacher you will be responsible for the below:

  • Planning and assessing pupils with Autism.
  • Working with the support staff to put in place and run interventions.
  • Support behaviour by following the children's plans

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Hold previous experience working within SEND
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
