Your new school
This Bristol based primary school are looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to join their large team to start ASAP. They are looking for a flexible Teaching Assistant with SEND experience who is available for the duration of the placement.
Your new role
In this SEND Teaching Assistant job in Bristol you will be supporting within the classroom on a 1:1 basis with a pupil in Y6 with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Full planning and resources are available and a handover period will be given with the current Teaching Assistant. As an SEND Teaching Assistant in this Bristol primary you will plan and deliver social and academic interventions whilst working closely with the class teacher and SENCo.
What you'll need to succeed for this job
You will have specific school based experience in supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis in a Teaching Assistant job. It is desirable to hold NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification.
