We are seeking an exceptional and resolute SENCO to lead the strategic advancement of Special Education Needs provision in a school in the NG17 area, with the determination to translate concepts into tangible achievements. Therefore, you should possess demonstrated experience in enhancing the quality of provision in a leadership capacity, either at a middle or senior level, with a proven track record of positively influencing SEN and driving progress for disadvantaged students, along with strategic foresight and dedication.
The ideal candidate will exhibit superb managerial, interpersonal, and organisational skills, fostering teamwork, a commitment to ensuring equal opportunities, and a strong sense of accountability for all.
For the right candidate, this role holds the potential for a permanent contract.
Essential Criteria:
- A SENCo Qualification (desirable)
- Demonstrated evidence of recent and ongoing professional development and relevant qualifications
- Capability in demonstrating effective classroom and behavior management
- Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred but not mandatory
