SEN Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support (KS1 - Autism)
Location: Ealing, London
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £95 per day
Contract Type: Full Time, Fixed Term (Full academic year)
Hours: 8.15am - 4.15pm, Monday to Friday, term time only

SANZA Teaching Agency is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Ealing, West London in their search for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child in Key Stage 1 who has Autism and additional complex needs.

The child is non-verbal, has sensory processing needs, and requires frequent, structured support throughout the school day - including time-out sessions when needed. Despite significant challenges, the child has made excellent progress this year with consistent support.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience supporting children with special educational needs - ideally Autism

  • A calm, patient and nurturing approach, while being firm but fair

  • A consistent and clear behaviour management style

  • The ability to work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and parents to support the child's development

  • A deep commitment to inclusion and helping every child thrive

This is a full-time position for the academic year. You will play a key role in this child's educational journey, providing support that truly makes a difference.
