Tradewind are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a SEN School based in Wirral. The School caters for 80 students at KS3 and KS4, all students have medical needs, which often involve aspects of mental health, such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders or chronic fatigue syndrome.

The role for a SEN Teaching Assistant is to start immediately and is a long term role that could become permanent for the right candidate. The SEN Teaching Assistant will be working in the Maths and Science department.

The ideal candidate would have a SEN qualification or experience working in a similar setting.

To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
