SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Hammersmith and Fulham, Central London

Contract Type: Full-Time, Contract

Salary: £85 - £100 + per day (experience dependant)

Start Date: September 2024

Duration: Full academic year

We proudly represent an exceptional Secondary School located in Hammersmith and Fulham, Central London, and they are in search of a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This position is available for September for one academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in diverse classroom settings.
  • Contribute significantly to fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
  • Collaborate closely with teaching colleagues and the SENCO to implement personalized support plans for students.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with students, parents, and fellow educators.
  • Contribute to the academic and personal growth of SEN students.

Requirements:

  • While prior experience in a school setting as a Teaching Assistant is preferred, it's not mandatory.
  • A genuine passion for assisting students with SEN.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt and work harmoniously within a team.
  • Dedication to creating a positive and inclusive school environment.
