We are recruiting for a SEN Support Assistant for a Primary School in M19 to work on a day-to-day basis starting as soon as possible.

Your role & responsibilities as an SEN Support Assistant:

• Supporting students with SEN requirements on a 1-1 basis
• Work effectively with social and emotional factors affecting a child’s capacity
• Working with and supporting families from diverse communities
• Adapting your style to suit all individual needs

Non-negotiables:

• Have previous experience supporting young children with additional requirements
• Able to deal with challenging behaviour
• Strong awareness and application of safeguarding in a school environment
• Ability to assess and accommodate individual learning needs of students
