SEN Teaching Assistant - Fantastic Ofsted "Good" Primary School in Cambridge - £85 - £95 per day depending on experience - September 2024 Start - Providing 121 support

Do you have previous experience working with SEN Children on a 121 basis, supporting them with social and emotional development as well as academic?

Can you see yourself creating a significant difference as an SEN Teaching Assistant, providing one-on-one support to students with special educational needs?

Then we have a fabulous opportunity for you! As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working on a 121 basis with an SEN student who has an EHCP. This student will need support with their social and emotional development, alongside ensuring they have equal access to the curriculum to develop academically.

***SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

***£85 - £95 per day depending on experience

***September 2024 Start

***Monday - Friday (8:30 - 3:30 term time only)

***Providing 121 specialised support for a student with Autism

Tradewind is currently working with a lovely Ofsted "Good" School who are on the lookout for a fabulous, experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team of staff. **Key Responsibilities**

  • Follow an EHCP to ensure the student is receiving the right support
  • Provide one-on-one support, reinforcing learning and aiding with tasks.
  • Cultivate a welcoming atmosphere that promotes positive social and emotional well-being
  • Create resources catered to the individual student

**Qualifications and Skills**

  • Previous experience with students who have special educational needs.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Showcased patience, empathy, and a sincere dedication to fostering the educational development of SEN students.
  • Adept at collaborative teamwork in a team-oriented setting.
