SEN Teaching Assistant

Tradewind are currently recruiting for a hardworking and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in Canterbury. The role is to start ASAP and will be full-time. It is a temporary long-term role, with the possibility to become permanent for the right candidate.

The role:

- Supporting pupils with SEN such as ASD, SEMH, and/or behavioural difficulties

- Small groups, 1:1, support, class teacher, special needs, learning difficulties, aiding, educational opportunities, equipment, activities, preparation, classroom, flexible, friendly, confident, experienced, instructions, repetition, rephrasing, supervision and school trips

To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role you will need to:

- Have experience as a Teaching Assistant or equivalent teaching assistant qualification

- This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

- Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained

- You must have the legal right to work in the UK
