SEN Teaching Assistant

Tradewind are currently recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a SEN School in Wirral. This is a School for pupils with special needs aged 11-19. They have a purpose build CLD school that offers high quality education in a stimulating and highly engaging learning environment in a stimulating and highly engaging learning environment.

The role for a SEN Teaching Assistant is to start September and is a long term, full time role with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate would have experience in a SEN environment but not essential. Must be willing to assist with personal care.

To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
