***SEN Teaching Assistant required in Southwark for 1:1 role with pupil with ASD
***SEN Teaching Assistant required to start ASAP, interviews in the next few weeks
***Friendly and bright graduate with a minimum 2:1 degree
***Experience working with vulnerable pupils highly desirable
***Amazing teacher training opportunities if wanted for SEN Teaching Assistant
***Long-term, full-time role – no day-to-day or supply!
***£65-£75 a day for Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

The SEN Teaching Assistant

>Caring and resilient in nature
>Minimum 2:1 degree in any discipline
>Excellent track-record of supporting pupils on an ILP
>Experience using Makaton or PECS advantageous!

The SEN Teaching Assistant will…

<> To aid the pupil to learn as effectively as possible both in group situations and on his/her own.
<> Motivating and encouraging the pupil(s) as required by providing levels of individual attention, reassurance and help with learning tasks as appropriate to pupils’ needs
<> Consistently and effectively implementing agreed behaviour management strategies

The position will be in a school in Southwark, Central SE London with excellent links with the whole of inner and outter London. The working hours are generally between 8-4 and the school have excellent training opportunities for a bright graduate willing to grasp them
