About Us: Our esteemed Special School in Liverpool is dedicated to providing exceptional education and support for boys with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health difficulties. With 70 places available, we pride ourselves on creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child can thrive and achieve their full potential.

Role Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a pivotal role in delivering tailored education and support to our pupils, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to provide holistic support to pupils.
  • Monitor and track pupil progress, providing feedback and implementing interventions as needed.
  • Contribute to the overall ethos and development of the school community.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with SEMH difficulties is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to promoting the well-being and academic success of every child.

To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
