The role:

- About the school: A special school for pupils who have profound, severe and complex needs including a vast range of medical and learning needs. A school for children aged 4-19 years old with a pupil population of nearly four hundred. All their pupils have an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP).

- Planning and delivering lessons to pupils with SEN

- Small groups, 1:1, support, class teacher, special needs, learning difficulties, aiding, educational opportunities, equipment, activities, preparation, classroom, flexible, friendly, confident, experienced, instructions, repetition, rephrasing, supervision and school trips

To join us and be successful in this SEN Teaching role you will need to:

- Hold UK QTS and have experience supporting SEN pupils

- This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

- Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained

- You must have the legal right to work in the UK
