Tradewind are currently recruiting for a SEN Teacher to work in a SEN School based in Wirral. The School is for pupils with special needs aged 11-19. The purpose built CLD school offers high quality education in a stimulating and highly engaging learning environment, which nurtures, supports and challenges their pupils to develop them into successful young adults who are as independent as possible.

The role for a SEN Teacher is for a maternity cover to start in May.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching students with SEN.
  • Passion for creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
