An outstanding special needs school in the North Londond are is now looking for an SEN teacher to join them. This is a warm and welcoming school that genuinely cares and has a passion for improving the education for their special needs students. This amazing school is based in North London Edmonton area. They believe that to truly flourish children must feel valued,they focus on what each child can achieve and celebrate their successes.

This school will be based on their new site which opened this September as the school has recently expanded with now over three siteacross the Enfield Borough. The schol is constantly looking of new ways to grow and develop themseves to create the best learning environment for their students.

There is parking on site and around the school and the site is easily commutable via trains and buses ( Silver Street Train Statio - Overground), 144, 34 bus links.

This role is a maternity cover working up up till the end of the summer term. This position is leading a class of 12 Y3-6 children who are all working at P7-P8 level.
The class has a mixture of needs, many of the children are pre-verbal or have very little spoken English. Each lesson will also have 2 Teaching Assistants.

The ideal candidate for this position will have/ be;

* Qualified teacher status (QTS)
* A passion/ experience working with special educational needs
* Able to commit to full time work
* Have a clear & valid DBS
* Able to commute to the Edmonton area on a daily basis
* Able to plan, mark and prepare all lesson.
