About the school and contract:
*We are looking for a dynamic and motivational LSA to work in an Ipswich based
special school, teaching students with a range of SEN difficulties.
*The school provides for pupils with moderate learning difficulties. Pupils may also
experience other complex needs, such as social, emotional and mental health needs,
autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, attention deficit disorder,
Asperger syndrome, and speech and language difficulties.
*This is initially for ongoing supply but has the potential lead to a permanent role
for the right candidate.
*The school caters for children in key stages 1-4 and has been rated as "Good" by

About the successful LSA:
*You should ideally have experience within the SEN Sector, although this in not
essential providing you have the right attitude and desire.
*Previous experience working with challenging behaviour would be advantageous
*A passion for working with children with SEMH and for helping to make a positive
difference to their education.
*The ability to engage with students who may not relate well to conventional teaching
*The ability to be innovative and think outside of the box.

*Highly motivated and focused on achieving the best for every student.
*A positive attitude and desire towards working with SEN students.
*Lots of energy and enthusiasm.
*The ability to motivate students whilst making learning fun.
