Tradewind is looking for a SEMH teacher for a SEMH school in North London. The role is full time starting ASAP with scope to continue into next academic year or become permanent.

The school:

An Alternative Provision (AP) for children and their families with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Their vision is to provide pupils with the confidence, educational progress and ambition necessary for a successful reintegration into mainstream school. This includes cultivating a productive lifestyle, personal resilience and the values required to become responsible members of society.

As a SEMH teacher you will be responsible for the below:

  • Planning delivering lessons to pupils with SEMH
  • Working with the support staff to put in place and run interventions.
  • Support behaviour by following the children's plans
  • Updating and setting targets for children.
  • Working alongside other professionals in the support network

To join us and be successful in this role you will need:

  • Full QTS
  • Previous experience working within SEMH
  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
