Prospero Teaching are looking for a SEMH Science Teacher, ideally with experience working with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties. The role is based in Wisbech and is to start in September.

About the school and contract:

*We are looking for a qualified Science Teacher to work with small groups of students with a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.
*This is initially a full time temporary position. If, as well as Science, you are able to teach an additional subject that would be advantageous (but is not essential).
*In addition to your work in the school there may also be some outreach work required, therefore it would beneficial if you are a car driver.
*This is initially a temporary role with no fixed end date but with the potential to turn into something long term or permanent for the right candidate.
*The role is to work with students between the ages of 13-18.

About the successful SEMH Science Teacher:

*Previous experience teaching in the SEN Sector is ideal, although this in not essential providing you have the right attitude and desire.
*Previous experience working with SEMH or complex needs would be advantageous
*A passion for working with children with SEN difficulties.
*Pro Active and innovative.

To be eligible the SEMH Science Teacher must have/be:

*Highly motivated and focused on achieving the best for every student.
*A positive attitude and desire towards working with SEN students.
*Lots of energy and enthusiasm.
*The ability to engage and motivate students whilst making learning fun.
*Excellent communication skills - the school encourages good communication with Parents/Carers.
