Prospero are looking for a dedicated and passionate English Teacher is required to work at a high performing school, to join them teaching key stage 3 and 4 as soon as possible to most likely be for the rest of the school year.

You will be joining a team of highly skilled and committed professionals who are relentless in their pursuit of excellence, in order to provide the best possible education for all our students. You will have the ambition to support the schools young people to on to lead both happy and successful lives.

This is an excellent school that is well established in the area. Students readily assume leadership roles such as volunteering in the library, helping younger pupils to read and by being student leaders. The pupils believe that the school feels like one big family with support from all members of staff. The behaviour in class and around the school is exemplary, which allows teachers to teach to a high standard and maintain positive relationships. The teaching does not end in the classroom with extracurricular activities.

Minimum rate of pay from GBP130 per day.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree with a good classification.

Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B. Ed, QTS, etc) as an English Teacher

Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference)

Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference)

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training)

Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training)

Up to date behaviour management & FGM training (essential, however, training can be provided).

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application at a cost of GBP45.80.

Provide a minimum of two professional references.
