Job Duties:
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to secondary school students
  • Follow the curriculum and lesson plans provided
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff members
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working as a secondary school teacher
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching environments
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong understanding of the secondary school curriculum
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Effective classroom management techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience with remote or online teaching
Working Conditions:
  • Work in secondary schools across East Midlands, Leicestershire, and Leicester
  • Full-time hours, typically Monday to Friday
  • Temporary position with the possibility of extension
