Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking a Secondary School ICT Teacher in Chandler’s Ford, Hampshire. We are looking for a Qualified Teacher to plan, mark, and deliver lessons for an ICT class.

Pay Rate: £110 - £202.08 per day

Working Hours: Full-time, 32.5 hours a week

Key Responsibilities of the Secondary School ICT Teacher:

  • Instruct a class of students, ensuring exceptional outcomes for all individuals by embracing the school's ethos and contributing to its strategic advancement.
  • Uphold high standards for each student, acknowledging their diverse backgrounds, and actively strive to enhance their academic performance.
  • Advocate for the school's values and effectively convey their importance to students.
  • Efficiently manage teaching and learning time, and organise the physical teaching environment, tools, materials, texts, and other resources in a safe and effective manner, with support from staff as needed.
  • Monitor, assess, report on, and evaluate student progress and achievement, offering written and diagnostic feedback in accordance with the school's Assessment Policy.

Applicant Requirements of the Secondary School ICT Teacher:

  • Qualifications: Hold a relevant qualification in Teaching and Learning, along with Qualified Primary Teacher Status.
  • Experience: Demonstrate proficiency in ICT and evidence of strategic use of data. Possess a secure working knowledge of the National Curriculum and its assessment, recording, and reporting requirements. Specialises in ICT.
  • Compliance: Able to provide proof of eligibility to work and reside in the UK. Must undergo an Enhanced DBS/Children's Barred List check, hold a clean UK Driving licence, and possess TRN, QTS, PGCE qualifications.
