An international shipping and logistics company in South Liverpool are currently seeking a Sea Freight Import Clerk to work on their sea freight team. The purpose of the role will be to handle all importing procedures from worldwide destinations. On offer is a basic salary of up to £30,000 working Monday to Friday.

The main duties of a Sea Freight Import Clerk are:
  • Full end to end import procedures.
  • Receiving and processing shipping documentation.
  • Issuing notices of arrival.
  • Providing customers clearance instructions.
  • Liaising with colleagues and clients worldwide.
  • Arranging deliveries as and when required.
  • Processing purchase orders and raising invoices.
  • Updating and managing the internal systems.

  • You must have sea freight import experience - this is essential.
  • You will also have excellent customer service and organisational skills.
  • Possess a good level of computer skills.
