Experienced Sea Freight Co-Ordinator - Liverpool - £24-£28k DOE -Hybrid working  and Benefits package

My client is a successful freight forwarding company who ship across the UK and globally, they have a fantastic reputation for offering first class service and bespoke forwarding solutions to their extensive client base. You will enjoy a fast paced and energetic environment and be a pivotal part in day to day operational support.

The sea freight co-ordinator will need to have an excellent eye for detail, be able to work well under pressure and have a passion for customer service, you will be an integral part of the freight forwarding team and will be responsible for all aspects of the associated administration. Previous experience of a similar role is essential and ideally knowledge of sea freight processes.

Main purpose of the role:

  • Receive orders and make booking with shipping line via on-line portal
  • Input confirmation into multifreight and send confirmation to client
  • Process shipping instructions, packing lists and invoice information 
  • Upload Customs and VGM Entries into system 
  • Manage load with client and shipping line for on time delivery
  • Obtain Bill of lading within agreed KPIs
  • Accurately match information and draft bill for client approval 
  • Raise sales invoice wit agreed vessel rate of exchange
  • Enter invoice information into quickbooks

This is an urgent requirement and interviews will be held immediately after successful application, you will be office based 5 days per week working 9am to 5pm with a level of flexibility on start and finish times if required. You will be a natural problem solver with an ability to multi task and manage end to end process for multiple shipments daily.
