Job Title: Scientist

Role: Scientist role at a growing Bioanalytical Contract Research Organisation (CRO) specialising in LC/MS/MS and LBA bioanalytical services to support drug discovery and regulatory development programs. The Scientist will participate in method development, validation, and routine sample analysis, ensuring compliance with GLP/GCP standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to bioanalytical projects through method development, validation, and sample analysis.
• Perform LC-MS/MS and/or Ligand Binding Assays, including maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Analyse data and generate reports.
• Collaborate with project Managers to meet client timelines.
• Act as a Responsible Scientist when required.
• Understand and adhere to regulatory requirements.
Minimal Requirements:
• Experience in a bioanalytical laboratory.
• Familiarity with sample extraction techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Delivery-focused with a good work ethic.
Ideal Requirements:
• Experience in a GLP/GLP accredited facility.
• Degree in life sciences or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS and Ligand Binding assays.
• Knowledge of scientific software platforms.
• Experience in Validating Bioanalytical Methods.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
Benefits:
Salary - £25,000 to £32,000 dependent upon experience.
Holidays - 28 days incl public holidays
