A local Camden secondary school is seeking an exceptional graduate who is looking to start a rewarding career in education as a teaching assistant!
The ideal Science Teaching Assistant will have a strong academic background with a minimum of a 2:1 in a Science subject and will have a natural flair in engaging with others. The teaching assistant will possess a passion for working with others and will have the ability to support pupils with a range of abilities.
As a teaching assistant, you will be supporting pupils both across the whole school and in a specific class to ensure all pupils reach their academic potential. Other specific duties include assisting the class teacher in duties such as preparing the classroom and lesson resources. The chosen teaching assistant will help orchestrate and plan 1:1 or small group interventions in your specialist subject for those students who are struggling or need more support.
The school is based in the centre of Camden and has excellent transportation links. The school are rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and are performing close to an Outstanding standard.
