Science Teacher

Remedy are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Science Teacher to join a team in Braintree. As a Science Teacher, you will play a crucial role in developing students' scientific knowledge and understanding, as well as their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities for Science Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging and stimulating lessons that meet the requirements of the Key Stage 4 Science curriculum

Assess and monitor students' progress regularly, providing feedback and support as necessary.

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported

Work collaboratively with other Science teachers and support staff to develop resources and schemes of work

Promote the importance of Science and its relevance to everyday life

Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities, such as science clubs or field trips.

Requirements for a Science Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) ECT's are also welcome

Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 4, with a proven track record of achieving excellent results

Knowledge of the Key Stage 4 Science curriculum and assessment requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A commitment to professional development and ongoing learning.
