Science Teacher - Rotherham

Location: Rotherham
Salary: Up to £250 per day
Contract: Full Time, Temporary (September to January)

About the Role:
GSL Education are seeking a qualified Science Teacher for a full-time, temporary position in Rotherham starting in September. This role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic science department.

Job Summary:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  • Evaluate and assess students' progress through a variety of assessment tools.
  • Maintain a stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and curiosity.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with faculty to integrate interdisciplinary approaches in teaching.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parent conferences, and school training events.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching Science at secondary level.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Note:
Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies. Background checks, including an enhanced DBS disclosure, will be required for successful applicants.
