We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and inspiring classroom practitioner with a real passion for science. Experience of teaching A level chemistry or physics would be an advantage. In the schools last OFSTED inspection (March 2012) we were judged outstanding in all areas including an outstanding judgement for overall effectiveness. The successful candidates will be a passionate, dynamic leader of learning who can offer:
-An innovative and creative flair teaching Science up to GCSE level.
-The learner at the centre of their vision
-Excellent classroom practice
-The ability to motivate, challenge and be challenged
-Covering Science lessons in the absence of the timetabled teacher
-Responsible the delivery of the cover work by effectively communicating the work set to students
-Ensuring that the required resources needed in order to effectively deliver the covered lessons are available.
-Managing the behaviour of pupils whilst the are undertaking set work to ensure a positive learning environment
