We are seeking a reliable and hardworking School Caretaker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our school facilities, ensuring they are safe and secure for students, staff, and visitors. Day-to-day of the role:

• Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the school, including classrooms, offices, and common areas
• Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance tasks as required
• Ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and reporting any issues to the appropriate parties
• Opening and closing the school each day, including setting alarms and checking for any security breaches
• Ensuring that the school grounds are well-maintained and litter-free
• Assisting with the setup and breakdown of events and activities as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A proven track record of working as a caretaker or in a similar role
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours as required
