Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with behavioural needs.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and monitor behaviour plans.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive school environment.
  • Assist in crisis situations and de-escalate conflicts using Team Teach techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Team Teach qualification is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
